For 2016, I’m on a challenge of reading a book a month. I’m currently reading Ben Horowitz’s The Hard Thing About Hard Things and it has this interesting chapter on what makes a Great Leader, a Great CEO?

1. The ability to articulate the vision (your storytelling skill sets play a major role if you want to be better at this characteristic)
2. The honest intent to put your people’s interest before yours (and your people should believe and trust in this intent of yours).
3. The courage and ability to execute the vision.

Almost all of these skill sets can be learnt.
