For 2016, I’m on a challenge of reading a book a month. I’m currently reading Ben Horowitz’s The Hard Thing About Hard Things and it has this interesting chapter on what makes a Great Leader, a Great CEO?
- The ability to articulate the vision (your storytelling skill sets play a major role if you want to be better at this characteristic)
- The honest intent to put your people’s interest before yours (and your people should believe and trust in this intent of yours).
- The courage and ability to execute the vision.
Almost all of these skill sets can be learnt.
